Born in Illinois, Rev. Dr. Lloyd Strelow was one of fifteen children. He left home as a freshman in high school to begin studies which helped prepare him to become a pastor. As a pastor, he has served six congregations in Michigan and California. His service to the Church at Large has included writing numerous sermon studies published in synodical and other resources, working with large circuit youth retreats, serving as a Circuit Counselor, working extensively with hymns and songs for worship, speaking at numerous events, and serving as Guest Pastor for the Wittenberg English Ministry in 2007 for the 490th Anniversary of the Reformation.
Pastor Strelow currently assists part-time at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Hemet, CA. His primary passion is to share God’s powerful love in Jesus Christ with others, whenever and however God gives him the opportunity.
Pastor Strelow is married to Joyce, an RN who has worked in a wide variety of medical facilities. They have been blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. His hobbies include photography and travel, and he enjoys a good laugh.
